Covering yourself with insurance is a key pillar of financial health. For that reason, it has its own George FIT section. Let's take a look at what George FIT statuses mean, plus some tips.
Financial health is very important - when it's not there, it can be a quick road to money problems. Still, it's not that easy to pin down what it really means. Here's how Erste Bank und Sparkasse define it:
Financial health means you are able to cover your current and ongoing mandatory expenses, feel secure about your financial future and make decisions that allow you to enjoy your life.
This definition, of course, is also the foundation of George FIT.

Of course, many individual factors also come into play. For example, your age, family life... the list could go on and on. George FIT helps you always keep an eye on the key pillars of your financial health and current fitness: Budget, Reserves, Protection (Insurances), Investments, Pension - and of course Protection.
Important aspects of your life should be well insured. That guards you against the financial impact of unexpected events and damages. That being said, not all insurances are made equal.
According to Erste Bank und Sparkasse, household and accident insurances belong among the core, basic insurances. Which is why both show up as basic insurances with George FIT.
The George FIT "health check" for protection, as a result, mainly focuses on these basic insurances. George keeps tabs on your other insurances as information.
George FIT recognises insurances automatically based on your transactions. George will also consider insurances you add manually using the FIT settings.
1. You have all basic insurances.
This is the ideal "green" status. In this case, George tells you that "You are well protected".
2. At least one basic insurance is missing or was not recognised.
In this "yellow" status George says "Your protection could be more complete." Of course he will also provide details on the insurances he did not find.
3. No basic insurances found or recognised.
George FIT uses this "red" status to give you a friendly reminder that "You are lacking essential protection".
Please don't see George's analysis and tips as a comment on you. They are only there to help you better understand your financial situation and make the decisions that are right for you.
Note that this does not represent insurance advice in the legal sense (Gewerbeordnung) and / or guidelines for communicating insurance based on prior surveying of stated wishes and needs.
