What's New at George Business in June 2025?

Last Article Update 16.06.2025

With the June update of George Business, a new feature is being introduced to significantly simplify the management of SEPA direct debit mandates. Also new: You can now track the signing history of orders with collective signing as well as Multibanking orders (EBICS).

Manage your mandates in the address book

If you manage numerous SEPA direct debit mandates from your customers, things can quickly become hard to keep track of. George Business now makes this easier than ever: you can create, manage, or delete mandates directly from your address book. This way, your mandates are always at hand whenever you want to issue new SEPA direct debits.

In the mandate section of your address book, you'll find an overview of all existing mandates—complete with convenient search functions—and the option to create new mandates directly within George Business.

To do this, simply fill out the corresponding form:

  • Select the appropriate creditor ID.

  • Enter the name and address of the debtor.

  • Provide the mandate reference and the date the SEPA mandate was signed.

  • Choose the type of direct debit (one-time or recurring).

  • Optionally, you can assign an internal label to help you identify the mandate more easily later on.

You can find more information about this new feature—including how to edit or delete existing mandates—right here. Or better yet: try it out for yourself with George Business.

Signature history of your orders

This new and practical feature displays the signing history in the details of orders (in the order history) with complex authorisation requirements—such as collective signing or multibanking orders via EBICS—so you can always see who in your company approved what, when, and why.
