Manage Mandates via the Address Book

Last Article Update 16.06.2025

A SEPA direct debit mandate is the consent of a debtor that you as the creditor are authorised to collect amounts by direct debit. At the same time, the debtor authorises their bank to carry out these direct debits. For George Business to be able to execute a SEPA direct debit, you need a correctly stored mandate in the address book. Please ensure that you have a signed SEPA direct debit mandate - this is absolutely essential. You can create mandates quickly and easily in the address book.

How to close a mandate and remove it from your overview:

  • Open the relevant mandate in the address book.
  • Click on "Delete".
  • Confirm the security prompt.
  • The mandate will be removed from your address book and can therefore no longer be used for new / future payments. An existing associated SEPA direct debit is not affected by this and remains valid. The mandate only loses its actual validity after the last direct debit has been made.
