George ID Enterprise-Version for Windows

This version of George ID for computers is intended for the case, that you like to use George ID on a computer, which is integrated in a domain, and which software is administrated from domain-side, or if you use the computer via a terminal service/Citrix integration respectively.

Please use this version only on notice of the George helpdesk, if it has recommended this approach, and include the responsible system administrator of your domain. 

Note:
After opening the zip-file mind the user hints in the README.txt file. There you can find instructions in English as well as in German.

 

Instructions for installation and usage

George User:
George user: Download the zip-file for George ID for Windows and provide it to your system administrator for import to the domain. Additionally provide the following instructions. Definitely save this link here for future update versions!

Download George ID Enterprise-Version

Systemadministrator:

  1. Unpack the zip-file in your „Downloads“-folder and navigate there in your Windows Explorer.
  2. Read the details for ongoing updates in the README.txt file (don’t change files and copy the directory overall).
  3. Provide George ID to the respective User.


George User:

  1. George ID for computer starts as usual.
  2. Now start the activation of George ID on your Windows device.

If s Identity still is your actual approval method, you need for migration your user-ID/Verfügernummer and an approval with the s Identity desktop app, which has to be done on the same device.

If you have already migrated to George ID on an other device, than you need your user-ID/Verfügernummer, your PIN (already set on the other device) and an activation code from a self-service machine using your debit-card or directly from your branch-advisor (s Identity App | Erste Bank).
