Payment Validator
The Payment Validator enables customers, software providers, and integration partners to validate pain.001 payment initiation files against the applicable ISO 20022 XML schema standards.
The tool verifies the technical structure and format of the uploaded XML file and helps identify errors before the file is submitted through Erste Bank channels The tool does not simulate business validations (e.g. account authorizations or available balance checks) and, thus, does not represent End 2 End validation. For any questions regarding the file checker results, please contact your vendor, responsible for generating the payment file.
How to use the Validation Tool
Before uploading a file, please note the following:
- Only pain.001 XML payment initiation files (.xml) are supported.
- The maximum supported file size is 100 KB.
- Please use test, sample, or anonymized data whenever possible. Do not use personal data!
- If personal data is included, you are responsible for ensuring an appropriate legal basis for processing and sharing such data.
- Successful validation confirms compliance with the validation rules implemented in this tool, but does not guarantee successful execution or acceptance of payments in Erste Bank production systems.
- Customers must ensure that payment files comply not only with the ISO 20022 standard but also with applicable Erste Bank implementation guidelines and channel-specific requirements.
