Request an activation code from your company's George Business Admin
You are using the George app/George Business app with George ID on your smartphone/tablet and want to activate the George app/George Business app on an additional smartphone/tablet.
Create a new activation code yourself in the George app on your existing smartphone/tablet:
- Go to Profile (silhouette icon in the overview at the top right)
- Device management (or Login & Authorization in older app versions)
- Section “Other devices”
- “Add new device”
- Then follow the instructions on your existing device.

- Note: Old devices that are no longer needed can also be removed directly in the “Other devices” section.
Create a new activation code yourself in the George Business app on your existing smartphone/tablet:
- Go to Profile (silhouette icon in the overview at the top right)
- Device management (or Login & Authorization in older app versions)
- Section “Other devices”
- “Add new device”
- Then follow the instructions on your existing device.

You can obtain an activation code for George ID on a computer only at a self-service foyer, in a branch, by post, or—as a George Business user—from your company’s George Business administrator.

You no longer have access to George or
George Business
- Your smartphone was stolen, is defective, lost, or you want to switch devices?
- Your PC/Mac with George ID or the s Identity desktop app is defective or you are getting a new device?
- You changed your smartphone and forgot to create an activation code for the new device before deleting the old one?
In all these cases, you need a new activation code to activate your authorization method (George ID or s Identity) on the new device.
In many self-service foyers of Erste Bank and Sparkassen, you can print a new activation code for George ID or s Identity at self-service machines marked “George”. Please note that you must be at least 14 years old.
- Beforehand, please check via branch search, to ensure that the selected location offers the “SB-George” service.
- You will need your debit card (formerly “BankCard”) and the associated card PIN.
- At a self-service machine marked “George” (recognizable by the George sticker), select the “George” function and print a new activation code.
You are welcome to visit a branch of your bank during opening hours. A staff member can print a new activation code for you and hand it to you personally. Please check in advance via the branch search to ensure your branch is open before visiting.
- Alternatively, you can contact our helpdesk at the s ServiceCenter. Please have your disposer number and the IBAN of your account ready. Your new activation code will then be sent immediately by post (registered mail).

The George Business administrator of your company can also provide you with a new activation code for your new device.
How to get a new EB PIN or TANcard for the cardTAN procedure
You can receive a new EB PIN for your cardTAN authorization method from our branch staff during opening hours, or by post (registered mail) via the above-mentioned helpdesk at the s ServiceCenter. Please check in advance via the branch search to make sure your branch is open before visiting. Printing an EB PIN in self-service foyers is not possible.
If you experience problems with your TANcard, please contact our card hotline at +43 (0)50100 50133 (available 24/7). Our branch staff can also order a replacement card for you during opening hours. You will receive it by post or, if you prefer, have it delivered to a branch of your bank for collection. Please check in advance via the to ensure your branch is open via the branch search.
