How to get to the signature folder

There are two ways to access the signature folder, with all your non-completed orders.

1. From "Your Orders" in the left-side menu: When you choose "Payment Orders", George shows your signature folder. You'll also find your drafts, pending orders as well as order history here.

2. In the overview: It's even quicker if you have the "For your attention" section active. Here, George shows you how many orders are waiting for your approval. By clicking on the open orders (blue button), you get to the signature folder.

How your orders end up in the signature folder

When you create an order and finalise it, George always shows you 3 options:

  • Save the individual order ("Save") – George will file it in your signature folder for later approval.
  • Save the order and create a new one in the same step ("Save & New").
  • Click "Sign" to start the signing process for this order.

You can also mark an order as draft. That helps if the order is not ready to sign yet, and you want to keep editing it.

Data Import

If your company uses the data import feature to upload a large number of orders such as salaries, invoices or standing orders to George Business, you will find the successfully imported data in your signature folder. You can then approve them there.

Oh, by the way: You can also filter your orders by order type – both in the signature folder and in the order history.

Labels for better orientation

Some labels provide additional info for open orders. This includes:

  • SEPA transfer
  • Non-SEPA transfer
  • Salary payment
  • Tax payment
  • Intra-company payment
  • SEPA Direct Debit
  • SEPA Direct Debit B2B
  • Cash per post payment
  • Bundle signing transfer
  • Data import payment
  • Cheque payment

The labels give you a better overview and make it easier to distinguish different orders and order types from one another.

Another type of label tells you more about signature status:

  • Open: Order not yet signed
  • Forwarded: Order is with the bank server, waiting to be signed
  • Partially signed: Order is waiting for a second signature
  • Revocation in progress: Order is being revoked

Filtering orders

When you click "Show filters", you'll have different options to help narrow down the results. Let's look at some of the options:

Order type: This includes options like

  • SEPA transfer
  • Non-SEPA transfer
  • Salary payments
  • SEPA direct debit
  • Bundle

Created through: Lets you choose orders based on where they came from. For example:

  • Manual order
  • George Business import
  • s Fileservice
  • Data Import/Export
  • EBICS
  • Unknown

Order source: This tells you whether the order came from your license or another license.

Whether in your signature folder, drafts or order history, you'll find a print button that lets you create and print documents easily.
