Last Article Update 31.07.2025

Let's talk about it! Sometimes, a quick answer from your advisor can easily solve a daily banking issue. Or maybe you need to send documents quickly to speed things up. With "Messages" - in your communications hub ("Contact") - you can get in touch with your advisor via a secure channel.

Access your communications hub

The main entry to your George Business communications hub is "Contact" in the left-side navigation. Here you can, among other things, send a message to your advisor.

Of course, if there's a new message waiting for you in your inbox, George will also show you an alert.

Message your advisor

Once you go to Messages, you can start a direct conversation with your advisor, or reply to them. The functionality is pretty self-explanatory. You will see 4 fields:

  1. Company: Please always select the company in whose name you are writing. This is especially relevant if you use George Business with several business licenses.
  2. Topic: Use the drop-down menu to select the topic category you want to talk about with your advisor.
Please note: If you select "Internet Banking - George Business", your message will go to the Helpdesk, who will be happy to answer your technical questions about George Business. With all other topics, you will reach your advisor directly.
  3. Message: Here is where you enter your text.
  4. Attachments: You can attach up to 10 different files with a total maximum of 100 MB. Each attachment is limited to 10 MB.

Once you've sent the message and started the conversation with your advisor, you can always find and continue the chat in the Messages menu which you can access as described above.

Sending orders via messages

With messages, you can communicate with your advisor at any time through a secure channel and discuss all business matters. Your George Business login automatically serves as identification. However, depending on business case, additional approval or form requirements may apply for the issuance of orders. Therefore, it is not always possible to send orders via messages to your advisor for execution.

Informal Orders
Orders and instructions that do not have mandatory form requirements can be sent directly to your advisor via messages. If all requirements are met, your advisor will carry out the order. Otherwise, they will contact you with further information.

Issuing Orders with Signed PDFs
Orders that require a signature from an authorised person can be sent as a PDF attachment with a message to your advisor. This PDF document must be provided with a valid electronic signature (e.g., via ID Austria) from all authorised signatories necessary for the business case.

In any case, your advisor can provide you with further information and, if necessary, refer you to another channel, such as direct order placement via George Business.
