PRIIP is an acronym for “Packaged Retail and Insurance-based Investment Product”. The manufacturer of a PRIIP has to produce a Key Information Document („KID“) which provides you with key information about the investment product. The KID is required by law to help you understand the risks, costs, potential gains and losses and compare them with other products.
