Fraudulent calls to steal George credentials and s Identity activation codes
Currently persons are contacted in fraudulent intention by employees allegedly employed at Erste Bank or Sparkasse or s Service Center. Under the pretense that someone tried to get access to the account the fraudster claims to need a new s Identity activation code sent by mail in order to stop the problem.
But the real goal is to user this s Identity activation code to fraudulently get access to internetbanking to perform fraudulent payments or credit card transactions.
Do NOT follow such instructions!
- They are for sure no employees of Erste Bank or Sparkasse!
Or employees will never ask you to pass on George credentials. - The phone number of Erste Bank und Sparkasse is: +4350100 or 050100 (plus 5 digits extension).
Please check the correct row of numbers! - Therefore: Never hand over a s Identity activation code to third parties.
The activation codes single use case is to activate s Identity as your personal login and signing method on your device (smart phone or PC/Mac).
