Gerda Holzinger-Burgstaller

Born in 1979

Gerda Holzinger-Burgstaller has been at the Erste Group since 2006. She was
Head of Group Prudential Affairs from 2013 to 2015, before managing the General
Secretariat of the Erste Holding. She has also been a board member of Die
Zweite Wiener Vereins-Sparcasse AG since 2017.
She became Chief Risk Officer and Chief Financial Officer in July 2019, and was
appointed Chair of the Erste Bank Oesterreich Executive Board in October 2020.

Retail customers; Human resources; co-operation with Sparkassen; IT & operations; brand management, marketing & communications; Group Secretariat; social banking; health centre; strategy and holdings; legal matters

Born in 1956

Willibald Cernko has held various managerial roles at Creditanstalt AG, Bank
Austria, HypoVereinsbank AG and UniCredit Bank Austria AG throughout his
professional career. He has been an Erste Group executive-board member since
2017. He was appointed to the Erste Bank Oesterreich executive board in July 2019.

Born in 1971

Stefan Dörfler has been with Erste Group since 1995 and started his career in the securities (trading & sales) area. After holding various management positions he was responsible for the divisionalised capital markets business (“Group Markets”) from 2009 until 2016.
As Chairman of the Management Board of Erste Bank Oesterreich from 2016 to 2019 he was inter alia responsible for the SME & Real Estate business, as well as IT & Operations.
In 2019 he moved to the Management Board of Erste Group as Group CFO.
On January 1, 2022, he additionally assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer at Erste Bank Oesterreich.

Stefan Dörfler

Born in 1970

Has held various managerial positions at the Erste Bank since 2010, including
head of Group Enterprise-wide Risk Management and Erste Bank Oesterreich’s
Operational Risk Management division. In 2017, she became an executive-board
member and chief risk officer of Slovenská sporiteľňa, the Erste Group’s Slovak
subsidiary bank. She has been the Erste Group’s Chief Risk Officer since July
2019, and has also been responsible for risk-related matters on the Erste Bank
Oesterreich executive board
since 1/1/2021.

In its core business – deposit and loan banking – it is focused on private customers, companies and the public sector. Apart from 1.075 branch offices and banking service points, the network includes more than 100 specialized advisory centers for residential construction financing, commercial clients, start-ups and private banking clients.

Erste Bank and the Sparkassen combine the advantages of the locally-anchored Savings banks with the security and strength of a major international bank. This mutual joint liability provides more security to Savings bank-group clients because the members mutually share responsibility for account deposits.
