Whether it's a customer or a friend, George makes it easy for others to pay you. Just give them a QR code with the details they need: IBAN, BIC, amount, reference. Then it's scan, send, done.

George combines all the details needed for a transfer in a single QR code. That way, all you have to do is share it. Here's how.

Step 1: Create a QR code
- Open the George app.
- From Overview, tap the account the money should go to.
- Go to Functions and choose "Request money via QR code". Your account details (IBAN, BIC) will be added automatically.
- Now, you can choose an amount (in Euro) to be sent.
- Below, you can add details to let the sender know what this is for (e.g. payment reference, invoice number, occasion)
When the sender scans this QR code, they should see your IBAN and BIC, as well as the amount and reference (if entered) in their banking app.
Step 2: Share your QR code
Tap "Share QR code" in the bottom right. This creates an image and opens your sharing options. These depend on device, but often include:
- Share with a contact
- Copy the image (so you can paste it in a document)
- Print the QR code
- Save to files, photos or a cloud service
Now all they have to do is scan, sign and send.
Web Browser
To speed transfers up, George lets you copy your IBAN and BIC.
- Go to your account from Overview or Your Products.
- In the side menu on the left, choose Product Settings.
- Click the document icon next to your IBAN or BIC to copy.
