With George, you can easily and conveniently open a savings account online. You have the option to create as many savings accounts as you like, allowing you to keep better track of your individual savings goals. Here’s how to open your first or next savings account.
To access the George Store, tap the shopping cart icon in the footer navigation bar of the George App.
Scroll down in the Store until you find the "Savings & Investment" category. Tap "Savings Account" to view the available savings options.
Select individual settings for your savings account, such as:
Review the summary of your data. If everything is correct, tap "Next".
Here you can download the contract for your savings account. All documents will also be sent to you via email if you agree.
If you agree to the contract and wish to proceed to the final approval, tap "Approve now". Then, please complete the process using your valid approval method, such as George ID.
By following these steps, you have quickly and easily opened your new George savings account. Generally, you can use the savings account within a few minutes and it will also appear on your George overview and product list.
To access the George Store, open the "New Products" section in the top navigation.
You can filter the available banking products by "Savings & Investments". Now choose the desired savings account you wish to open, for example, the new Smart Saving account, which allows you to define up to 10 different savings goals within one account.
Once you have selected your desired savings account, George will guide you to an overview page with information about the features, benefits, and conditions of the savings account. Read these carefully to understand the options that suit you.
By clicking "Info & open online", you will be directed to the final page of the process, where you will see a summary of the key information.
If you have read the information and are sure you want to set up a savings account, click "Open now".
