Up to now you have managed the main data of your business contacts including account details, templates and mandates in telebanking MBS (ELBA) and would like to continue using them after your upgrade to George Business? Nothing easier than that.
Find out here how to import your data to George Business to be able to use them in the future.
Once these questions have been answered, you are ready to go..
To export your data from telebanking ELBA, a telebanking MBS version from ELBA version 5.8.0 R2 is required. If you do not know exactly which version you have, click on "?" in the menu bar and then on "Info". The software version used is displayed below your license number.
The first step at George Business is to create the business contacts. This is a prerequisite for importing mandates and templates.
There are two different procedures for exporting data - depending on whether you have received the MBS software from Erste Bank and Sparkasse or from a third-party bank.
Once all points have been clarified, you can start. Step by step:
If you have opened telebanking MBS, you will find the option to export data in the menu under "Settings" » "Access data" » "Assistant"..
To export your telebanking MBS data, click on "Export as ZIP file".
In the next step, select a destination folder for saving your data. If you have not yet created a folder for the file, you can create one in the course of the backup. For example, on the desktop.
As soon as the export is complete, a message appears at Telebanking MBS.
You can immediately use the "Export.zip" file you have just created for importing at George Business.
Open telebanking MBS. In the menu under "Settings" you will find the data export under "Access data" and in the next step "Assistant".
Start the export of your business partners (business contacts) and bank details by clicking on "Payments - Auxiliary Data" and in the next step on "Counter party" and "Counterparty + BC/Accour". Confirm with "Next".
Confirm the conditions also with "Next".
Specify your storage location for the export file.
Confirm your storage location with "Save".
In the next step, click on "Next" to confirm the file name "Counterparty + BC/Accour.csv". The file is stored at the desired destination.
Repeat these steps for the export of the templates and mandates.
If everything has worked, you will find the following three files on your PC:
Counterparty + BC/Accour.csv.csv
Templates.csv
Mandates.csv
Now merge these three files into one zip file. If you do not have a suitable programme for this, the programme "7-zip" is recommended. It is best to name this zip file "Export.zip". This way you can assign them at a glance.
You will find the function for importing your telebanking MBS data at George Business in the menu under your company name.
Click on "Telebanking MBS Import"
Select your file or add it with drag & drop.
Start the data import with "Start processing".
After the import, you will receive a report with the results. You will find this in your communicationhub under the item "Processing Log". Attached to this message you will find a pdf file with the details of the import.
After the successful import, you will find your imported files in the address book under the menu items Business Contacts, Accounts, Templates and Mandates.
