Interesting discussions, close ties to your alma mater, and excellent networking opportunities – these are just a few of the reasons to join the WU Alumni Club. Founded in 1995, the WU Alumni Club now has over 4,600 members and offers around 70 different events each year, making it one of the leading alumni organizations in the German-speaking world.

A lifelong connection between graduates and WU, numerous networking opportunities both in Austria and abroad, and open communication between research, teaching, and the business community – these and more make up the WU Alumni Club’s comprehensive portfolio. The Club’s approximately 70 social and business-related events each year give graduates plenty of chances to meet, socialize, and exchange thoughts and ideas. Events include for example the regularly scheduled WU Alumni Tuesdays (short lectures followed by discussion) and the popular WU Alumni Arts (guided art tours exclusively for WU Alumni Club members). Aside from the numerous smaller-scale events held on a regular basis, the WU Alumni Club Annual Reception, attended by more than 1,000 alumni and guests from the fields of business, research, and teaching, is one of the social highlights of the year.

WU Alumni Club is particularly proud of its internationalism. Committed alumni acting as hub representatives are active in over 45 cities around the world, organizing local events and social activities. From Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, and Prague, all the way to Sydney, Shanghai, and New York, WU alumni are all part of a close-knit network that spans the globe.
